Our lake is a typical Bressane pond. Although quite shallow, it offers the best conditions for carp to grow fast because of the awesome natural food abundance. (bloodworms, mussels and other shellfish)
In relation to the Carp population the average density is about 500 kilograms per acre, with a dominating number of common carp which were introduced long before the mirror carp.
Today our population includes at least 15 fish between 12 and 15 kgs, 10 fish between 16 and 20 kgs and 5 specimen over 20 kgs (over 44 pounds!).
Let’s not forget the grass carp of which some are well over 40 pounds! Their capture is always a nice surprise and their hectic fights are always a memorable experience for any angler.

Info – Saturday 21st of November 2009 : introduction of 26 new carp over 10 kgs for a total weight of 392 kgs, as well as 10 grass carp over 10 kgs.
